José Amaya (El Salvador, 1979), has a Master's degree in Linguistics from the Federal University of Ceará and a degree in Legal Sciences from the Central American University "José Simeón Cañas" (UCA). His field of study lies between education and law. In the first, his focus is on reading in a digital environment; Digital, Media and Informational Literacy; and, informational disorders. In the field of law, his research focuses on the protection of personal data; digital rights; freedom of expression on the internet; and, in general, at the intersection between technology and human rights. Amaya is a consultant on Education and Law, as well as the author of opinion and academic articles on these topics.
