André Ramiro is Visiting Researcher at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (Humboldt Stiftung German Chancellor Fellow). He is Co-founder of the Law and Technology Research Institute of Recife (IP.rec), where has coordinated the Privacy and Surveillance research area and projects such as the Encryption Observatory. He was a member of the Chamber of Security and Rights of the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee and Google Policy Fellow at the NGO Derechos Digitales.
