Maria Pasholok, MPhil (Cantab.), DPhil (Oxon.) is an independent
researcher and award-winning filmmaker, interested in the topics of
visual culture, architecture and society, formalism, media studies and
freedom of speech. She publishes broadly on the topics of cultural
politics in international press including Forbes, Vogue, Times
Literary Supplement. She is currently finishing her book on
architecture in early Soviet cinema, and is a Communications and
Projects Director of Kino Klassika Foundation, UK.
