Franco Giandana is an IP-IT lawyer from Argentina with web development and coding skills. He is a member of the Creative Commons Executive Committee of the global network and of the Executive Committee of the Non Commercial Users Constituency (NCUC) at ICANN. Currently, he works at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, where he assists local governments in the implementation of digital technologies and the development of digital policies. Furthermore, he is a partner at Sala Mercado, a prestigious law firm specialised in Corporate Law.
Franco has been involved in Internet Governance since 2016, when he funded a local NGO to advocate for digital rights. Together with the regional community, Franco participates and organises some of the most important events on IG in the region. This year, he is representing the academic sector as a member of the IGF Argentina Streaming Committee to be held in Córdoba during the 14th of November.
