Javed Hussain

Mr. Javed Husssain is social development specialist and researcher working with a civil society organization named Sindh Community Foundation in the capacity of Executive Director since last ten years. He has been working with civil society organization since last 20 years. He has master degree in sociology from University of Sindh and advance certificate in the Disaster Risk Reduction from EPFL Switzerland. He is also fellow of Eco Peace Leadership Center South Korea. He has been engaged in environmental management, climate change, urban development and community development project. He has undertaken a numbers of research studies on impact of climate change women health, impact of rising temperature on women agriculture workers and impact of deforestation on local people in Sindh. He has written articles on various aspects of climate change and environment. He has also offered trainings for CSOs and environment practitioner on the sociology of the environment. He has also designed projects on climate change, environmental justice and management community development and policy research and advocacy.
