Michael Stevenson has been a researcher with the Digital Methods Initiative since 2007, where he contributes to the development of methods for web cartography (map-making), and to project and query design. In 2009, he led a workshop on using digital methods to explore historical blogospheres and other web spheres with the Internet Archive. Michael is a Ph.D. candidate and lecturer in Media Studies at the University of Amsterdam, and is currently completing his dissertation on 1990s web culture.
